I have had my eye on these and the big ones for well over a year but each time they were sold out before I could put in an purchase order. Spur of the moment saw these and ordered 2 instantly. I preferred for the "modest" 50 gal rain barrel which is still the like size of it as most on the market place albeit MUCH more attractive.

Delivery was very speedy - 2 days. Both got wrapped up in a plastic bag with the contents stuffed within. I suspect mine were originally packaged since there equalled a card-board shipping label taped to the top of each but it's hard to say - the local deliver looks to be pretty hard on merchandises lately and one arrived with the side forced in a bit. I'm going to attempt and fill it up to see if it pops back out as well as test the wrinkles to make sure there are no other troubles that don't promptly meet the eye.

The hosepipe is a very inexpensive quality - you will likely want to replace it and I've already ordered full quality remnants available elsewhere on Amazon itself. Also, the valve is located at the very bottom of the container - you should get maximum drain unlike other models where the free spout is above the side (or even at the tip in some models... which makes no sense to me whatsoever).

These truly do look like clay or adobe peculiarly at a length. Are lightweight when empty and the total effect is very delighting. A terrific choice to those with HOA restrictions or just seeking for a visually delighting product. The price is very competitive to most others on the marketplace although certainly a lot higher priced than finding your ain used soap pail or such. Locally even those go for $40 and up... if you can deal to find them at all. My one MAJOR vexation - and it has nothing to do with the item itself - is these were clear from Amazon return department. I ordered new and it just annoys me to get returns rather of new items when I give full price. I really feel this should be exposed PRIOR to purchase and or discounts supplied if you are ordering a returned product. Even so, the product is adorable, shipping was fast (still not certain about that box) and the price was competitive with other choices (although irritating to get refurbished instead than fresh).

Quick Update - The "dent" from shipping popped right out without try when filling. These seem even good when set-up. Were very easy to regular - we determine each one on a big concrete stepping stone which supplied just enough constancy for them to rest level without going weighed down into the soil grass. These are REALLY heavy when filled (figured to weight over 400 lounds exactly from weightiness of 50 gallons of water) and the drain valve is so low you will need to prevent it out of the grass. Overall very proud of! By far the nearly attractive rain barrel I've encoutered up to now...
